If you’re looking for new options for weddings at sea, take a look at the new wedding program that MSC Cruises has launched.

The program will allow couples to legally get married on board the MSC Divina while she sails the Caribbean. If you prefer, you can opt to get married shoreside at one of the many beautiful Caribbean islands that MSC Divina visits including: Bridgetown, Barbados; Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; Falmouth, Jamaica; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Nassau, Bahamas; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. You can also get married on embarkation day in Miami.

Partnering with The Wedding Experience, MSC Cruises’ event planners will work with couples to handle all the details of planning the wedding or vow renewal, including providing a wedding consultant leading up to the wedding and a ceremony coordinator the day of.

If you have guests that will sail after the wedding and book at least 13 staterooms, you will receive a complimentary balcony stateroom; larger groups will receive a complimentary suite (30+ rooms in group) or Yacht Club (50+ rooms in group) stateroom.

There are many options for ceremonies and receptions including everything from photography and videography packages, if you like. In addition you can choose the music, fresh flowers, food and beverage packages.

The MSC Divina is the first ship in MSC Cruises’ fleet to offer legal weddings. It has many locations for romantic photos, including one in the stunning Swarovski crystal staircases.

Prices start at $1600 for a shipboard event and $2200 for a shoreside event and guests can sail with the couple or join the couple just for the ceremony and reception (up to 150 non-sailing guests can join a wedding on board while the ship is docked in a port).
