The steel cutting marked the official start of construction for a fourth Oasis ship, scheduled to be delivered in 2018. It took place at the STX France shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, where the third Oasis-class ship also is being built.
The fouth Oasis will debut in 2018 and will be a sister ship of Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.
Details of the two Oasis-class ships currently under construction will be revealed in the coming months but Oasis Class ships have neighborhood concept of seven distinct themed areas, 225,282 GRT, 16 decks 2,700 staterooms and amenities like other ships of the cruise line as FlowRider surf simulators, cantilevered whirlpools, an ice-skating rink and the Royal Promenade, an interior boulevard.
